Did you know? The beer is the third most popular drink overall after water and tea. Beer is the mixture of various ingredients like water, starch source, hops, hop extract, yeast, clarifying agents and other additives. Today we got a list of 10 best-selling beer brands in the world.

10. Coors Light:-

Coors light Canadian Lager Brand. It is light and refreshing, with a 4.0% alcohol content. The beer has a “Cold Certified” label which turns the mountains on the label from white to blue when the beer’s temperature is lowered to 4 degrees Celsius (39 Degrees Fahrenheit). In 2005, Coors light was awarded a silver medal at the Great American Beer Festival in the American-Style Light Lager category. The beer is most popular in the US, UK, and Canada, and also spread globally.

The pale lager comes in two main variations that are Brahma (4.3%) and Brahma Chopp (5%). Brahma is a Brazilian beer, originally made by the Companhia Cervejaria Brahma, which was founded in 1888, The brewery’s currently the fifth largest in the world. The brands are now owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev. The taste is described as “the classic mouthfeel of a lager beer, strong body flavor, neutral aroma,” by Rate Beer.

As China’s fourth largest brewery and its oldest one, it has a leading position in Northeast China and owns the Hapi beer brand. Harbin has increased its annual beer production capacity to over 1 million tons and has become a giant in China’s beer industry after its successful reform and listing on the Hong Kong stock market. In the North American market, Harbin beer was first sold in ethnic Chinese supermarkets.

7.Heineken:-

Heineken is founded by Gerard Heineken in Holland (in 1984). The quality of the beer is too good that it become one of the leading premium lagers in the market. The beer is well known for its light, slightly sweet taste. The beer contains alcohol content which is nearly about 5%. Heineken is known for its creative marketing efforts. This beer is created in 1980. Pale in color and has a faintly bittersweet flavor. It is the 6th biggest selling beer in the world. You can’t even imagine the company produced 57.1 million hectolitres of beer in 2013. It is the known as the official beer of China with holding the position of the 3rd biggest brewery in China. It is still owned by Beijing Yanjing Brewery Company.

5.Skol:-

British, Canadian, Swedish and Belgium breweries all are combined to make Skol Lager. Currently, Skol is the most popular beer in Brazil. It was originally produced by Caracu, which was bought by Brahma in 1980. The brand was awarded a Gold Award at the 2012 World Quality Selections, organized by Monde Selection. The beer was also awarded a gold medal for packaging and a silver medal in the taste category at the 2005 Australian International Beer Awards. It is nice among all other beer brands.

4.Budweiser:-

 The best thing about Budweiser is its unique amber color and refreshing taste. It is one of the highly popular beer brands in Anglosphere. Anheuser Busch was the one who introduced this amazing brand into the US in mid- the 1800s. It then covered almost around 80 markets worldwide. The beer is made with 30% rice in addition to hops and barley malt. The good thing about the beer, it is available in the draft and packaged form. Only for the marketing of this brand, Anheuser Busch spends around $449 million in 2012. This brand is also one of my favorite.

3.Bud light (Best among all beer brands):-

This one is the sibling of Budweiser and it holds a greater share of the international market. The good thing about this beer, it contains less sugar and has low calorific content than Budweiser. About one out of every five beer sold in the U.S. is a Bud Light. Budweiser and Bud Light are sometimes advertised as vegan beers, in that their ingredients and conditioning do not use animal by-products. The Bud Light brand paid $1 billion for a six-year licensing agreement with the NFL.

Tsingtao became the highest selling Chinese beer in the world when it was introduced to the U.S. This beer become the international brand. It was founded in 1903 by German settlers and now claims about 15% of domestic market share. What you need to look at is the taste and aftertaste because that’s where Tsingtao Beer impresses. It has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. Tsingtao also uses the finest yeast and barley imported from Australia and Canada in its brewing process.

This beer considered as the most popular beer on the planet. Snow Beer is a Euro Pale Lager style beer brewed by China Resources Breweries Limited in Beijing, China. The taste is described as “very watery” and “highly carbonated” by Rate Beer. It is a great accompaniment to Asian Style cooking. The best thing about the beer is, it is available at a very low price. It originated in Shenyang. So, it can be found anywhere in Shenyang (China).
