Aimed at shielding farmers' crops from the damages inflicted by stray animals, this scheme offers a ray of hope to those grappling with substantial crop losses due to the intrusion of animals into their unfenced fields.

Objective of Kantedar Tarbandi Yojana

The primary objective of the Taarbandi Scheme is to provide financial assistance to farmers for the installation of fencing around their fields. By enabling farmers to create barbed wire enclosures, the scheme seeks to empower them in protecting their crops effectively, especially those who lack the financial resources to secure their lands adequately.

Priority Allocation

Under this scheme, special consideration is given to certain categories of farmers:

- Scheduled Caste: 17.83 percent

- Scheduled Tribe: 13.48 percent

- Women category farmers: 30.0 percent participation

Benefits of Kantedar Tarbandi Yojana

The scheme offers subsidies based on different criteria:

- For small and marginal farmers: 60% of the total cost, capped at ₹48,000/-

- For other farmers: 50% of the total cost, capped at ₹40,000/-

- Community application (group of 10+ farmers with a minimum of 5 hectares collectively): 70% of the total cost, capped at ₹56,000/- per farmer

Additionally, each farmer can have up to 400 meters of fencing covered under the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria of Kantedar Tarbandi Yojana

To avail of the benefits under the Taarbandi Scheme, farmers must meet certain eligibility criteria:

- All categories of farmers are eligible.

- For individual farmers and farmer groups, a minimum of 1.5 hectares of land at a single location is required.

- In Scheduled Tribe areas, a minimum of 0.5 hectares of land at one location is required.

- For community applications, a group comprising 10 or more farmers must collectively own a minimum of 5 hectares of land within the specified perimeter.

Application Process

The application process for the Taarbandi Scheme involves the following steps:

For New Registration:

1. Visit the official portal.

2. Click on the "Register" option.

3. Choose either "Jan Aadhaar" or "Google" for registration.

4. Complete the registration process as per the selected option.

5. Submit the registration.

For Application Entry:

1. Visit the official portal and login.

2. Open the dashboard.

3. Click on the "RAJ-KISAN" option.

4. Under "Farmer," select "Application Entry Request."

5. Enter the "Bhamashah ID" or "Janaadhaar ID" and search.

6. Select the person's name and scheme name.

7. Complete Aadhaar Authentication and click on "Get details."

8. Provide the required details, including pensioner, bank, disability, and verification details.

9. Upload necessary documents.

10. Submit the application.

To complete the application process, farmers need to provide the following documents:

- Aadhar card

- Address proof

- Identity card

- Land-related documents

- Ration card

- Mobile number

- Passport size photo
